company's early name was Wangda Tongguang
Technology Institute of the National 797
Plant. The National 797 Plant was a well-known
national military electro-acoustic company
of great importance, whose dominant products,
especially the microphones, are famous in
China. It is also one of the earliest companies
in the world that produce series of microphones.
Mr Wang Tianwang, the broad chair of the
company is a senior engineer and a microphone
expert, who graduated from Nanjing University
in 1965. After graduation, he devoted himself
to microphone design in the company and
the forerunner, developed Hongyan and Wangda
Hongyan series of microphones that gained
a lot of national medals and certificates
of merit for their splendid quality. Large
quantities of products are used in many
important occasions, such as Tiananmen,
Zhongnanhai, the Great Hall of the People,
State Department, the Political Consultative
Parliament, CCTV station, local TV stations
and so on. They were used by many national
directors, such as Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaopeng,Jiang
Zemin etc. Now they are used in province
or city government offices, companies and
plants, large guesthouses, schools, stadiums,
country broadcasting stations, film creation
centre and also explored to Europe, Africa
and Southeast Asia.

company's microphone technology is advanced
in this field of China. there are many types
of microphones suited for broadcast, sound
reinforcement in conferences,audio projects
or electro-acoustic teaching etc.
The series of handling microphones specially
used in communications were developed in
the early years. They have been used in
military transmitter system for many years,
for its satisfying quality. In the recent
ten years, large quantities of products
are used in civil communications, intelligent
management, broadcast in fire fighting and
so on. For example, the ODC-3 moving-coil
